The Cyber and Information Security Alliance of Virginia (CISAVA) is a group of likeminded cyber and information security professionals who are interested in discovering new technologies building lasting partnerships.   

The CISAVA board and members meet on a quarterly basis.  A conference is held each year in Richmond, Va each year to celebrate outstanding contributions by cyber and information security professionals in Virginia, as well as share ideas, new technologies, and discuss challenges facing the industry.  

All cyber and information security professionals are welcome.  Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief information Security Officers, and individuals with oversized titles are welcome to join CISAVA, but board appointments and membership is limited to actual cyber and information security practitioners.  Our board and members represent a diverse and eclectic mix of professionals with expertise in a variety of cyber and information security areas including, but not limited to: encryption, identity and access management, forensics, penetration testing, logging and analysis, secure coding, cloud security,  network security, and fluid dynamics.
